Obituary of Thelma Suzette Mills

Thelma Mills, age 98 of Oroville, CA passed away April 12th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husbands Floyd Raymond Jensen and Elroy Glasgow Mills, father Otis Harrison Vanderford, of Oklahoma Indian Territory, and her mother, Birdie Cleo Mock, of Osterburg, PA. Thelma is survived by her son, Kirk Thomas Jensen (Mary) of Franklin, TN, and daughter Karen Suzette Eastham (Robert), of Oroville, CA, grandchildren Jon David Moss (Melissa), of Gridley, CA, Shannon Heather Bennett (Chris), of Gridley, CA, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Thelma was an avid horsewoman and spent most of her life on the Vanderford Ranch west of Gridley, CA. Still in good health at age 88, she moved to Country Crest in Oroville, CA where she remained active until recently. She will be buried in the Gridley Biggs Cemetery in Gridley, Butte County, California. There will be a private celebration of life on May 8th, 2021.
