Obituary of Ronald Aaron Long

Ronald Aaron Long passed away on April 10, 2021 in Oroville, California with his devoted wife, Carole at his bedside. Ron was challenged with a serious respiratory illness which eventually took his life. He was a huge Giants fan and an amazing cook. Ron leaves behind his wife Carole of Oroville, CA; his mother Barbara and stepfather Tom Hester of Redding, CA; his sons Travis (Bre) Long of Reno, NV; Randal Long (Jordan Lee) of Shingletown, CA; his daughters Brandy Pruett of Florence, TX; Rikki Seversen (Josh) of Sacramento, CA; step daughter Jenifer Vigent of Minnesota; his brother Jason Hester of Redding, CA; his sister Melodie Cochran of Las Vegas, NV; his aunt Jackie Turner (Tom) of Halethorpe, MD; 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father John, his brother Rick, his sister Christina Maki, and step son Robbie Vigent. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Northern California Veterans Cemetery, 11800 Gas Point Road Igo, CA. After the service family and friends are invited to a light lunch at Lulu's, 2230 Pine Street Redding, CA. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
