Obituary of Stephen Allen Thomas

Stephen A. Thomas passed away on April 4th, 2021 at age 66. Steve and his twin brother Donald were born on May 9th, 1954 to Donald and Joan Thomas of Streator, IL. After graduating from St. Michael’s Preparatory High School in 1972, Steve went on to study anthropology at Cal State Fullerton and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor’s degree. In 1984 Steve moved to northern California to be closer to family, and not long afterwards met his wife Stephanie whom he was married to for 35 years. Steve began a long and successful 30 year career with AAA as an insurance agent in Red Bluff, CA, receiving numerous awards and trips around the world in recognition of his hard work and dedication. Steve had an awesome sense of humor and was a “really nice guy”. Steve loved travelling, playing golf, and spending time with family. Steve was actively involved in the Knights of Columbus and volunteered his time to the community and Sacred Heart School. Steve was preceded in death by his father. He leaves behind his mother, wife, two daughters, grandson, brother, sister, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Red Bluff, on May 29th 2021 at 10am.
