Obituary of Dora L. Bates

A Private Graveside Service will be held for D. Leona Bates, 94 of Biggs CA. She passed away March 21, 2016, at her home. Leona was born June 25, 1921, in Oroville, CA to Randolph and Dora Wallace. Leona enjoyed gardening and Big Band music. She was a life member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Bates and one sister. Leona is survived by one son, Darrell Bates of Richvale, CA, one daughter, Meredith Bates of Biggs, CA, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Family suggests contributions to “Make a Wish Foundation” or charity of choice.
