Obituary of Charles Edward Peter

On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 Charles E. Peter, loving father of two, passed away at the young age of 60. Charlie was born November 12, 1960 in Gridley, CA. He graduated from Gridley High School in 1979 and married his high school sweetheart Kimberle Brey. They were married for 30 years and raised two children, Amanda and Jared. He worked in the construction and lumber industry for over 30 years before Alzheimer’s and dementia took his life and livelihood in 2015. Charlie had a passion for the mountains and being outdoors, this was lived out through his love of hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, four wheeling, and shooting guns. If he could do it in the mountains, he did. Charlie was known for his humor, love of playing jokes, and his infectious laugh. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Claire, his mother, Noma and his sister Debbie. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda, son, Jared, four grandchildren, Davis, Cora, Ariel and Colton. Along with two sisters, Jessie and Deanna, one brother Wesley and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending for a later date.
