Obituary of Trudy Rae Jennings

Trudy Rae Wallace Penix Jennings Trudy long time Oroville resident, passed away on December 27, 2020 after a long battle with the complications of a stroke and a brief struggle with a fast onset COVID-19 infection. She was 75. Born in Oroville in late August 1945, she was the daughter of Earl E. and Ethel C. (Griffith) Wallace, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years James L. (Jim) Jennings of Oroville, daughters Verna R. Speer and Elyzabeth A. Ericksen of Oroville and Trisha L. Schryer of Virginia Beach, ten grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; five grand dogs. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson Street Oroville, CA. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers , it is requested that donations be made to The Jimmy Durante Children’s Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
