Obituary of Terry Martin De La Gardie
Terry Martin De La Gardie was born August 08, 1948 to Joyce and Elizabeth De La Gardie in Michigan state. He took his last breath Christmas morning, 2020. Terry spent most of his childhood in Michigan and after serving in the Vietnam war, he relocated to southern California where he retired as a heavy equipment mechanic from the County of Ventura.
Terry had a passion for camping and especially loved his home in the mountains of Berry Creek. He was an avid reader (mostly science fiction) and a history buff. He loved his Star Trek shows, Star Wars movies and almost any movie starring John Wayne. He also enjoyed music and had a passion for older cars and trucks.
Terry leaves behind a sister, Renee De La Gardie, and his two daughters, Kristin Goicoechea (spouse Chelise) and Karly Korneichuk (spouse Konstantin). He also leaves behind four grandchildren and extended family located primarily in California, Texas and Washington. He is preceded in death by his father (Joyce), mother (Elizabeth), and 4 siblings (Scott, Marsha, Sandra and Mark).
His family will celebrate his life privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
