Obituary of Wayne Louis Weyers

Wayne L. Weyers of Palermo, California passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 after reaching the age of 85. He died in Oroville Hospital of complications due to Covid after a short bout of the virus. Wayne was born on January 17, 1935 in Gothenburg, Nebraska to Hannah Lena Thorrell and Rudolph Louis Weyers. He is survived bu his 3 brothers, Richard, Gary and Leroy. Wayne's first marriage was to Jennie Lanphear and they had 3 children Louis, Linda and Larry all still living. His second marriage was to Emma Stinnett who had 4 children to add to his 3. Emma had Kathy, Marvin (Mac), Billy and Bobby. Wayne later adopted all 4 children. Marvin and Billy are still living. Kathy and Bobby have passed. Wayne's third marriage was to Charlotte Psota. They enjoyed the last 10 years of each others companionship. Charlotte will miss him as we all will. For a living Wayne was a sprinkler fitter. Had his own successful buisness for nearly 40 years. Once retired he moved from Gilroy to Palermo, where he lived out the rest of his life very happy. Wayne had a full, wonderful life. He would remark on this often, how blessed he was. He leaves behind his 3 brothers 4 sons, 1 daughter, countless nieces and nephews, plus multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will miss him terribly. He was a concrete structure in the family that will leave a hole with his absence. He truly was a friend to everyone he met. He was a longtime member of Palermo Baptist Church. There is no doubt that Grandpa is with his Lord in Heaven. We ask in lieu of flowers please donate to Palermo Baptist Church who has taken a hard hit with Covid this year.
