Obituary of Floyd Eugene Womack

Private services will be held for Floyd Eugene Womack, 72 of Gridley. Floyd passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Marysville, CA. He was born on February 28, 1948, one of 8 children born to William and Annabelle Womack, in Oroville, CA. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Butte County, working many years for John Taylor Fertilizer Company, later to become Wilbur Ellis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and visiting casinos. He was a devoted family man and loved his family. He was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Gridley. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters, one son, Michael A. Womack and two grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Iola Womack of Gridley, four children; James E. Womack of Auburn, CA, Darren E. Womack, Paul A. Womack, Joy L.
