Obituary of Lyndall Lorraine Wixom

Lyndall “Lyn” (Wheeler) Wixom Born January 5, 1939 to Rose and Byron Wheeler of Portland, Oregon, Lyn passed away in the arms of her loving family on March 2, 2016 at her home in Oroville, California. After graduating from high school in the Portland area, Lyn attended Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa where she met her future husband, Lynn Wixom. They later married and moved to California eventually settling in Oroville, California in 1968. She had an ardent faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ and was a life-long member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She willingly shared her faith and her personal testimonies with all she met. Lyn had many interests and hobbies over the years and was known for her fused glass jewelry, but her most notable quality was her congenial and loving personality. Those who knew her loved her and enjoyed her company and were drawn to her engaging and loving personality. She will be greatly missed. Lyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lynn Wixom, son Brenden Wixom, daughters Robin Wixom and Wilynda Nelson, and six grandchildren, all of Oroville, a sister, Lorna Smith of Independence, Missouri, and a brother Dale Wheeler of Portland, Oregon. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM at The Evangelical Free Church, 3785 Olive Highway Oroville, California.
