Obituary of Beulah Frances Bozzo

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016, 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Beulah F. Bozzo, 89 of Gridley, CA. She passed away March 2, 2016 in Yuba City, CA. Beulah was born January 10, 1927 in Breckenridge CO, to Clifford and Virginia Pickett. She was a longtime resident of Gridley, having farmed many years with her husband and sons. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and sewing. She was a wonderful cook. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, YLI (Young Ladies Institute) and Manzanita PTA. She was preceded in death by her husband Fedele Bozzo, two sisters, Ruth Hardy and Shirley Carney. Beulah is survived by two sons, Dan (Ann) Bozzo of Gridley, Joe (Helen) Bozzo of Yuba City, two daughters, Virginia (Henry) Bass, Irene Patane, both of Yuba City, two brothers, Ray Pickett of CO, Don Pickett of Magalia CA, two sisters, Maxine Michna of Sacramento CA, Mary Deveny of Chester CA, twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be held Monday, March 7, 2016, 6:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Avram Brown of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate the service. The family wishes to thank The Fountains and Rideout Hospice for their compassionate care. The family suggests contributions to Sacred Heart Food Closet.
