Obituary of Raymond Eugene Griswold

Raymond Eugene Griswold resident of Oroville, California passed away peacefully in his sleep after extended illness on October 16, 2020 at the age of 84. Ray was born in Vallejo, California on November 27, 1935. He was the son of Raymond Dudley Griswold and Edna Crowshaw Griswold. He had 5 siblings: Delores Fallon, Virginia Bailey, Betty Goodenouugh, Edith Serris and Bill Serris. There were 11 children who were beloved: Michael Griswold, Cynthia Chellson (deceased), Raymond Reyes, Janine Weber, Dawn Percelle, Marty Harper (deceased), Steven Harper, Brian Harper, Sharon Gibson, Diana Boatwright, and Bill Reed. He is survived by his wife Marcia, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he treasured. He will be remembered for his love of life, dedication to family and friends; and years of service to his country, employers and Oroville Rhinos Youth Football. A special thank you to the wonderful family and friends who cared for him this past year. A Celebration of Life will be held in October 2021.
