Obituary of HARLEY R.D. BROWN SR
Harley Ray Dean Brown Sr. was born on Dec. 4th, 1937 in Damascus Arkansas to Reed and Edna Brown. Harley passed away on August 6th, 2015 at his home in Palermo, Ca. at the age of 77.
Harley met and married the love of his life, Mary DeCamp on Sept. 28th, 1957. Two years later, they had their only son, Dean (Harley Jr.). They eventually hand built and made their home in Palermo Ca.
Harley worked in the construction trade for 50+ years, retiring in 1997. Harley was the epitome of a hard working man and provider for his family.
Harley loved to keep busy...whether working in his garden, fishing or building something around the house...Harley was a "sun up to sun down" man.
Harley will be remembered as a loving husband, and a proud dad and grandpa.
Harley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary. His son Dean and daughter-in-law Shirlene and his grandson, Kyle Brown all of Oroville, Ca. His sisters Aline Stroud and Lois May...and numorous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. He is proceeded in death by his Father and Mother. His brother, Lawrence Reed and a sister, Florence Sturgeon.
Harley's Funeral Burial Service will be held on Thursday, August 13th, 2015 at 9:30 am at Memorial Park Cemetery. This will be his final resting place.
