Obituary of Calvin Boyd Conley

His Legacy… Calvin Boyd Conley, 69 of Oroville, CA passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 24, 2020. He was born on April 21, 1951 in Sioux City, Iowa to Boyd and Iris Conley. He married Denise Conley on June 14, 1997. Cal was a self-made business owner and successfully managed and operated Conley Roofing Systems for over 35 years. He raised his family in San Jose, CA, and when his last child left home for college, he and his wife Denise moved to Oroville, CA to build their dream home. Cal had ambitious dreams to start a houseboat repair and storage business near Lake Oroville, but had no idea how influential and vital his services and expertise would become to the entire community. Conley Houseboat Storage & Repair continues to flourish, as Cal continued to work up until his passing. His Family… Cal is survived by his wife, Denise Conley, and his three children, Brandon, Shannon and Katy, as well as grandsons, Grayson, Caeden and Evan. He is also survived by his sister Celeste and nephew Michael Chism. He is preceded in death by his sister Nina Carbone. He was a proud family man who enjoyed taking care of his loved ones.
