Devin Edwards

Obituary of Devin Reid Edwards

His Legacy…Devin Reid Edwards was born Jan. 9, 1974 in Chico, CA. He worked for his tribe Mooretown Rancheria as the Gym Director for over 11 years. Devin met his loving wife and best friend Shelia Lincoln-Edwards while working together at Feather Falls Casino in 1997. They recently celebrated 15 years of marriage on Jan. 29, 2016. Devin enjoyed road trips, camping with family & friends, watching his son's sports events, movies and music. Devin was a huge fan of metal music and enjoyed many concerts with family and friends. He was also a huge movie guy and his collection of movies is enormous. If you couldn't remember a movie or actor, Devin was the guy to ask. He was smart and he remembered everything. He will be remembered for being brutally honest always and outspoken when needed. Those that didn't know him thought he was quiet and reserved but once you knew him his humor and sarcasm had you hooked and everyone loved him for that. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. We will greatly miss his laughter and his ability to make everyone laugh. His Family…Devin is survived by his best friend and wife Shelia Edwards, his sons; Damian Edwards, Dakota Edwards, Christian Edwards, Adrian Edwards, Ethyn Lincoln, his mother Linda Edwards, father Doran Edwards, step mother Paula Watson all of Oroville, his brother James Cayton of Stockton, his sister Debbie Edwards, brother-in-law Julian Martin of Oroville; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, his faithful pups: Snooki, Mac, Mater and his precious Sissy. His Celebration of Life…will be held Saturday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Mooretown Rancheria Gymnasium, 2 Alverda Dr., Oroville CA. Devin wanted a barbeque with family and friends and to remember all the good times he had past and present. We hope you can join us as we celebrate his life. Shelia and sons will be handling all arrangements and you may contact her via email at sedwards1769@gmail.com
