Obituary of John William Rampenthal

John William Rampenthal was born on October 8, 1930 in Leroy, Kansas to Mary Uhler and Elmer Joseph Rampenthal. John passed away on February 9, 2016 in Oroville, California. He worked for 31 years for Kaiser Steel in Fontana, California. He loved woodworking, gardening, and telling his life story. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Annabell Rampenthal of Oroville, CA; his son John W. Rampenthal Jr., son Gary W. Rampenthal and daughter Sharon K. Thornton, six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Rest in peace Papa. No public services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
