Håfa Adai Beth, Debbie, and Rick and families,
Max and I wanted to extend our condolences on your mom's passing.
I just sent a note to your dad, but I'm not sure if he checks his email regularly.
So if he doesn't, please pass our sympathies on to him.
A couple of months before she passed, your mom called me and was very concerned about our sister Linda. I treasure the conversation we had catching up on old times.
We really appreciated her thoughtfulnees even during her last months when I know she was really struggling with her cancer.
She told me then that she knew she didn't have much longer, but that she'd had a good life and was ready to go.
It is good to have our hope that there is more to our life than this brief period that we have here on planet earth. It will be amazing to be in a place where there is no more aging, sickness, medicines or doctor's visits. Instead, health, vitality, and joy in God's presence. We look forward to that day.
