I was so heartbroken to hear of Glenna's death last month but I know that things were not easy for her and your family following her major stroke a few years back. Glenna was a mentor to me as a Chico piano teacher and touched the lives of many teachers and students in the years of her founding and leading our local Monster Piano Concert, a novel piano event that so many students enjoyed and found to be a highlight of their years! She knew just how to encourage the best from the students! We have missed her since her retirement but she has often come to mind over the years as I continue to teach lessons. I will cherish the memory of my last lunch with her, Larry, and a few other piano teachers here in Chico. May God give peace and comfort to you her family as you remember her significance in your lives.
