I am truly saddened to learn of Tom's passing... he and I had been friends since the 1970's and had been fortunate to find each other again after some 25 plus years of separate lives. I was pleased to have been able to visit with him on a few occasions in the last few years. I was trying to check in and say hello again when I just now in June, learned of his passing.
I will say in these more recent years, that I felt Tom clearly had really grown as a person and had many times expressed to me that some of those earlier years could have been a bit more constructive, but in later years he did try hard to make up for some lost time and reconnect with friends and family that he truly loved and talked fondly about.
