Obituary of Robert William Solansky

His Legacy… Robert William (Buddy) Solansky was born on March 28, 1955 in Redding, CA to Bill and Shirley Solansky. Buddy passed away on April 26, 2020 in Yuba City. He was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He worked at LP Lumber as a forklift driver for over 20 years. He liked camping, working on cars, loved old cars; collected small old cars and trucks, antiques, and Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. He loved spending time with family and having long conversations of the old days. He loved oldies and country music. Buddy had a humorous outlook on life and always had those around him laughing. His Family…Buddy is survived by his brothers Wayne (Kelly) Solansky, Danny (Teresa) Solansky of Oroville, Terry (Sandy) Solansky of Oregon, his sisters, JoAnne (Bernie) Roberts of Houghson, Joyce Baker of Oroville, his daughters, Cirrotta (Carl) South of Marysville, Misty Solansky of Oroville, his son Nathan Solansky of Oroville, his grandchildren Ryan Boyd of Chico, Nathan Solansky of San Jose, Greg Rampenthal of Oroville, Micheal Hawkins of Marysville, and Jaxson Solansky of Oroville, LeAnn Boyd of Marysville, Haley Rampenthal of Oroville, Aubrey Solansky of Oroville, great grandchildren, Alissah Boyd of Chico, and Amelia and Amayah Boyd of Marysville. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Shirley Solansky, his brother Ronnie and his son GL Solansky. His Farewell Service… His Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
