Obituary of Clarence Francis Griffin

His Legacy… Butch F. Griffin was born on August 12, 1948 in Oroville, California to Francis and Ruth Griffin. Butch passed away on January 9, 2020 in Oroville, California. He served for the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War from 1967-1969 upon being honorably discharged he pursued his career in the timber industry. He was an inspirational father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid pool player in the Oroville Community and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his kids. He always made sure to spend time with his family that was the most important to him. You would always catch him on his lawn mower riding around on his property working outside. His Family… Butch is survived by his sons Doug and Steven Griffin and his daughters Ashley and Shannon of Oroville, CA; his grandson Cody Griffin of Oroville, CA; his granddaughters Danielle Cottrell, Taylor Griffin and Sadie Gaudet of Oroville, CA; great-granddaughters Kenslee and Lynnzie Camp of Oroville, CA; his sisters Marlene Navarro and Sandy Vance of Oroville, CA; along with many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Francis Griffin and his mother Ruth Griffin. His Farewell Service… His Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Oroville Inn, 2066 Bird Street, Oroville, California.
