Obituary of Marjorie Elise Pyke

Marjorie Elise Pyke passed on to be with her Lord on November 18, 2019. She was born on September 25, 2019 in Alliance, Nebraska, the eldest child of Albert J. Gannon and Irma Gannon. She graduated High School near Redding, California, and went on to graduate from Glad Tiding Bible College in San Francisco. She was the wife of Rev. Forest D. Pyke who preceded her in death in 2001. They worked together to serve the Lord for 52 years of ministry until their retirement and for many years thereafter. 

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Bettee Evans, her granddaughter Tasha Wetzel and her great-grandson Edward Wetzel. She is also preceded in death by by her five siblings, Albert L. Gannon, Delbert Gannon, Bill Gannon, Dorothy Ruble and Mary Cuniel. She is survived by her daughter, Naomi Bidleman, son-in-law Bill Evans, grandson William R. Evans and numerous nephews and nieces who loved her deeply. She is also survived by her loving friend, care-giver and “adopted daughter” Patricia Pierson. She was also blessed with her dear friend and Sister in Christ of over 55 years, Genita McElhaney
 

Private Graveside Services have been held. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
