Obituary of Kay Frances Hill

Her Legacy… Kay Frances Hill was born on June 16, 1941 in Eureka, California. She was called home by God to be with the love of her life on October 16, 2019. Kay graduated Oroville High School in 1959. She was an outstanding athlete in softball and volleyball. She loved to go camping, fishing, gold mining and enjoyed her antiques. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family. Kay married her high school sweetheart Dean J. Hill. They had two children together, Dean Hill Jr. and Windy Hill and blessed with grandchildren, Michael Hill, Jennifer Fox, Kristi Harrison, Emily Sossaman, Gary Nystuen, and most precious great grandson Jeremy Dean Fox. Kay devoted her life to her family. Kay worked at Oroville Chamber of Commerce, then went in to banking for 22 years, before she decided to open Oroville Mortgage processing Real Estate Loans for about seven years, then retired. She was very good at what she did. Kay was an amazing kind and caring wife, mother, friend, and everybody loved her.

Her Family… Kay is survived by her son Dean Hill Jr., his wife Pam Hill, daughter Windy Hill, grandchildren, Michael Hill, Kristi Harrison, Emily Sossaman, Gary Nystuen, Jennifer Fox, her husband Jeremy Fox and their son Jeremy Dean Fox, her sister Priscilla Wilson, her brothers Neil Lambert, Butch Lambert and Victor Gray. Kay is preceded in death by her husband Dean Hill Sr., her father Elton Lambert and her mother Lucretia Lambert-Gray.

Her Farewell Service…A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St. Oroville, CA. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene, 2238 Monte Vista Ave, Oroville, CA. Kay will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd. Oroville, CA. A Reception will follow at the Church of the Nazarene.
