Obituary of Carla Carmen Arrabito

It is with great sadness that the family of Carla Arrabito announces her passing on Tuesday September 17, 2019, at the age of 70. Carla will be lovingly remembered by her son Rico Arrabito. Carla will also be fondly remembered by her siblings Angela Freese, Michael Armijo and Diana Armijo. Carla was surrounded during her last days by family and will be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, extended family and dear friends.

Everyone who knew Carla loved her generous, gracious spirit. Carla was predeceased by her husband Paul and her daughter Gina. Carla was born in Oakland, California in 1949 and graduated fom El Cerrito High School and Athena Beauty College. She worked as a cosmetologist for over forty years. She had a loyal clientele in El Cerrito and when she moved to Berry Creek in 1985 she had a home-based beauty salon for 20 years.

Carla was a beautiful person inside and out! Her cheerful loving spirit, contagious humor, loving hospitality, great cooking and amazing artistry will be sorely missed. Her home was a gathering place for many holiday dinners, family events, and celebrations. We were richly blessed to have her in our lives for all these years. So we say good-bye until that special day when Jesus comes to take us all home and we are reunited as a family again. Carla's final request was for a private family service.
