Obituary of Tammy Lynn Jensen
Her Legacy… Tammy Lynn Jensen was born on October 14, 1961 in San Rafael, California. Tammy passed away on August 22, 2019 in Oroville, California. She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, a wonderful sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and a great friend. She graduated from Oroville High School in1979. She then went on to obtain her license in cosmetology and worked for a short time as a hair dresser. Tammy then started working for Pacific Coast Producers, where she spent 38 years and made many, many friends. Growing up, Tammy’s passions in life were riding horses and playing softball. She also enjoyed being a 4-H member for several years. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays and she always looked forward to decorating and hosting Christmas Eve at her home with family and friends. Tammy also enjoyed working on her numerous array of word puzzle books. She loved animals and her beautiful cat Gypsy meant the world to her. She also liked working outside in her yard and raising and caring for her plants, especially her giant fern who she fondly referred to as “Big Daddy”.
Her Family… Tammy is survived by her father, Raymond Jensen of Oroville, CA; her sister, Debbie Valdovinos of Oroville, CA; and her brother Steven Jensen of Oroville, CA; along with lots of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Frances Jensen and her son Kristopher, "who was the Light of her Life.
Her Farewell Service…A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Tammy and Kristopher on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Moose Lodge, 1462 14th Street Oroville, CA 530-534-8262. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tammy's name to Feather River Hospice.
