Obituary of Jerry Lynn Whipple Sr.

On December 3, 1948 Jerry Lynn Whipple Sr. entered this world to grace us with his larger than life presence. He was raised in Fresno, California. He joined the United States Army and served his country from 1967 to 1970. He met his future wife Carol Ann Barton and became father to Paul, May and April by marriage and then Jerry and Carol had Jerrry Lynn Whipple Jr. He was a wonderful father, husband provider, friend, protector, and sometimes enemy, he was the tie that bound his family together. Jerry is to all that knew him loved. Jerry passed on from this world on June 30, 2019 taken in his sleep but still ever on watch over his loved ones. 

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Carol Whipple, his son Jerry Whipple Jr., his daughter Darlene Grace Whipple of Fresno, CA;  his step daughters May and April, and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Eva Lynn Whipple and his step son Paul. 

A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced once date is set.
