Obituary of Trina Ann Torres
Trina Ann Torres was born October 3, 1963 to Placido Ortiz Torres Sr. and Diane Theresa Mandriguez in San Francisco, CA. She was called to dwell in the house of the Lord on May 23, 2019. Trina grew up in Richmond, CA where she attended Lincoln elementary and Helms middle school. While attending school Trina worked as a CNA in San Raphael, CA. At the time, Trina wasn’t able to finish school but later on took the initiative to further her education at Butte College. She enjoyed going to school and doing homework with her nieces. She loved listening to music. Everywhere she went she would play oldies and loved Toni Braxton. She loved going to family gatherings and visiting her cousins. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Trina was crazy, funny, cool, family-oriented, caring and generous. Although Trina never had children of her own, she loved all her nieces and nephews as they were her own.
She is preceded in death by her parents Placido Torres and Diane Scott; sister Theresa Perry; brother Gregory Torres.
She is survived by her brothers Charlie Sauers of Oroville, Placido “CO” Torres of Oroville, Patrick Torres of Hawaii, Matthew Torres of Richmond, Franklin Torres of Hawaii, Mario Torres of Hawaii; brother in law David Cruz; sisters Chanel Mandrigues of Oroville and Ana Threadgill of Richmond; sister in laws Lisa Torres of Oroville, Penny Torres of Hawaii; goddaughter Infinity Joseph and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins. She had many friends that she cared for.
Trina will always be remembered for her laughter, her love for music and her unique ways. The time that we were able to spend with her will be cherished forever.

Trina passed away on May 23, 2019 in Oroville, California.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street Oroville, California. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:30 AM at South Side Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road Oroville, California. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd Oroville, California. Arrangements are entrusteed to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
