Obituary of Anthony Joseph Travers
His Legacy… Anthony “Tony” J. Travers was born on July 7, 1948 on the Island of Oahu, Honolulu, HI, to Daniel T. and Constance L. Travers. Tony passed away after a multiple of long illnesses on April 24, 2019. Tony was in Service with Air Force, CHP, CA State Marshalls office, Butte County Sheriff, Petaluma PD, Oroville PD and Butte County District Attorney’s Office. His love was tournament Bass Fishing with his longtime friend Pat. He was a loving brother, son, grandfather, father, husband and friend. He also enjoyed his loving companion Ruby.
His Family… Tony is survived by his wife, Karen Travers, his 3 sons, Daniel, Paul and Jeff, his 6 grandchildren, Lilly, Jeffrey, Ritchie, Austin, Nolan and Kashmire Luxe. He is also survived by his step mom Estelle, step sisters, Janis and Leslie and step brother Jeff. He is preceded in death by his Father Daniel and Mother Constance “Connie”.
His Farewell Service… His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Evangelical Free Church, 3785 Olive Highway, Oroville, CA 95966 530-599-6866.
