Obituary of Colleen Wailana LaGrone
Her Legacy… Colleen Wailana LaGrone died on April 26th in Oroville, CA. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 29th 1938. Colleen loved her family gatherings, especially the hayride in October. She was always happy when family came to visit especially the little ones, which was a special time to her. She liked to play bunco, work in her garden, crossword puzzles, and traveling in the RV with her husband Bill. She owned La Mirada Rest Home for many years and retired from Oroville Tax Service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Lake Oroville Garden Club, past member QUOTA.
Her Family… She is survived by her husband Bill LaGrone, Sr., daughters Deborah (Bill) Heath , Kathryn Ray, Suzanne (Mike) Green, grandchildren Corinne, Kristina (Gary) and David (Amber) Heath, Amy (Daryn), Katie (Randy), Charles (Hannah) Huff, Earl Ray, Jared, Tyler (Jessica), Spencer Jacoby, great grandchildren Aubrey, Logan, Atom, Nikola, Bailey, Will, Danica and Destiny. She is also survived by her children by love and marriage, Steve, James (Nicole), Bill Jr. (Heidi), Brenda, Diane and Carol as well as grandchildren, Paolo, Justin, Doris, Ashlie, Meagan, Kyle, Jordan, Bill III, Emily, Staci, Cierra, Johanna, Jordan, Urian, Tory and Kirby, and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Kenneth Barksdale, son-in-law James Ray and grandson Matthew Ray.
Her Farewell Service… A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home, Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery on Lincoln Blvd. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Monte Vista.
