Oh, how we will miss that beautiful smile. Although it has been years since I have had the blessing to see Darlene there are years of memories growing up. The sadness I have is for you her loving family, and for my mom who I know loved her with all her heart, and has missed spending time with you two. She is I'm sure busying herself with making heaven just that much better. Sure love you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we meet again- on earth or in heaven. Love, the youngest Sander girl.

Otto Lorraine and I are so sorry to hear about your loss. We are praying for you and your family. We never had the opportunity to meet Darlene, but know that she had to be a wonderful person to have put up with a fighter pilot for all these years. If memory serves me correctly we have known each other since 1950 or there about when we both worked at the Stinker service station across from the old Nampa High School.
Once again you are in our thoughts and prayers.
If you ever pass this way (Omaha) the door is always open to you and yours.
God bless you and your family.

Otto and family,
Hearing of your sweetheart's passing is a very sobering experience. Otto, my friend, you and Darlene are a huge part of my life. Very few were the community events where I did not see you both, involved up to your eyeballs, serving the people of Gridley. You both set a fine example for the rest of us to try to emulate.
I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences as you enter this new stage of life. Thank you for sharing your girl with the grateful community of Gridley. You both were and are my heroes.

Otto & Family,
Darlene was such a wonderful woman. Otto you and Darlene were wonderful friends that god blessed me with. You were there in my toughest times to help light the way and make me smile. I could never repay you for your love and kindness. I was thankful to spend one last afternoon with you two for lunch during my last visit to the US and while I was surprised to see her ill, it was still a pleasure. You are in my thoughts and forever in my heart. Teresa Grottola
