Obituary of Larry Edward Coonrod

Larry Edward Coonrod, 72, of Magalia California, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family Tuesday, January 1st, 2019. Larry was born October 6th 1946 in Grass Valley, California to Walter (Bud) Coonrod and Roberta (Jones) Coonrod. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1969, with a deployment to Korea. Larry started All Roofing Company in 1979, providing service all over California. His company and craftsman-ship were well known to all for exquisite quality and integrity. In his later years, Larry provided maintenance service, con-sultation and was admired by all for not only his knowledge and skill, but for his willingness to drop everything at a moment's notice to assist anyone in need. His work ethic and life of service touched many lives and by example ensured that his values, service, and pride in hard work with excellence will be carried on for generations to come. Larry is survived by his two sons, Brian Powell and David Coonrod, his 2 daughters, Sha Hindery and Lacy Coonrod, his wife Debbie (Hindery) Coonrod, 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, including a special niece dear to him, Sarah McClellan and his twin brother, Lynn Coonrod. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter (Bud) and Roberts. A Celebration of Life will be held Sat. Feb. 2nd 2019 at 5pm at his residence in Magalia. Hosted by wife Debbie 530-520-5966.
