This news literally broke my heart! Angie was the epitome of what a real lady is. I fought her battle with her, but had so hoped for a victory. God had plans for her, and now she is one of his angels. I will miss her sweet smile and her loving nature. Rest in peace, pretty girl, and know that you were loved. <3

My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Angela.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many who have experienced such a loss, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

I have known Angela most of her life. I grew up in Sacramento & Gridley. Her Step Mom Judy was one of my Mom's life time friends. Her sister Laura was only 3 the last time I saw them. I spent my summers at the family farm. My mom cooked for the workers. I am so glad so many people were touched by her. She was always a special person. Rest in peace my sweet old friend.

My special day with Angela was a sunny fair weather day, we had a tea party on a park swing hanging from a digger pine in our yard on Tessaro Lane.
I don't know what the occasion was, but it has been one of my life treasures from the year 2000.
Never did I expect to be given a chance to share it with anyone, and I am so sorry though we have eternal hope in our MESSIAH to be doing so now under the circumstances.
I am taken by surprise by the announcement of her departure from this plane. My deepest regrets that she left at such a young age you you her near and dear family.
May I share the giggles we exchanged under my tree...
We were two women who only knew who each other were, due to our daughter Tessa's engagement to Neal Dean Rash Jr., but in that swing we laughed like there were no cares in the world. She told me of her family orchard at harvest time. She explained in detail the acceptable fashion of long sleeves, netted hats and gloves in HOT weather.
Yuck was her take on this attire, especially being a young fashion conscious girl. Upon the day of her expected debutant to help the family with harvest she refused to dawn the encombering layers that would hide her hairstyle and make up; no way was she about to wear a netted hat, or long sleeves! She showed up to work with the veterans of the trade in shorts a tank top and her hair fixed just right! By days end, with arms scratched up, spiders, bats, leaves and bird poop in her hair she accepted the hideous apparel as her socially acceptable attire on picking days.
At intervals along the way of telling her story her laughter was so contagious it caught me in half suspense of what she would say next, and my own imagination as her story was unfolding. We laughed so much to consider in hind sight what her elders knew, but refrained from telling her when she showed up decked out for the county fair, rather than orchard work. She said they treated the day as any normal day and accepted her fashion statement as part of everyday life in the orchard, saving their smiles for the end of the day.
That day we ate strawberries dipped in chocolate, little cheese and cracker snacks and tea served on China!
It happened one time only, we prayed for our families together that day, and that was that...
May Angela's memory be blessed! HalleluYHVH!

When I first heard of this my heart sank for your loss of a loving wife and mother. Most could never imagine the pain and stress that your family has endured over the last couple of years on a daily occurrence. I'm a truly so sorry for your loss!
Angela was a beautiful person inside and out and her smile could light up a room. Her outlook on life was breathtaking and her faith in God was encouraging. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her and knew of her. I am blessed to have known her and all the great memories that I have. Thank you Mr. Joe Crook for being her best friend and her rock in her time of need. Thank you for your heart of compassion and all the tears that you have shed. Thank you for pushing her to fight so everyone around her could enjoy one more month, one more week, and one more day of fellowship with friends and family. You have a amazing family. My prayers are with you in this time of struggle. I love and miss y'all!

Such a Beautiful Gracious lady I had the privilege to know.
She will be greatly missed by her family and of course there will be a huge void in the church body where she was The First Lady.
Life is too short that is for sure.
Heaven got sweeter with her passing.

I didn't know Angela on a personal basis. I only knew her smiling face through the drive up window at Rabobank. She watched my belly grow during pregnancy, congratulated me on my sons arrival and became his favorite "bank lady" because she gave him candy during our visits. She had the most beautiful smile and warm character. Im deeply saddened by her passing and send my heartfelt condonlences to the family. Fly high with the angels Angela.

I really liked Angie, as one of her bank customers. It was always fun to run into her around town so we could yak on a personal level. She was beautiful, both inside and out, hair or no hair. She was one heck of a fighter, and I will remember her strength thru all of this, and her great smile ( and jewelry).
Blessings to all of you. I have put your family on our prayer list, where our team will remember your family in prayer for one week, then your name will be sent to Silent Unity, where prayers of comfort and love will be done 24 hours, 7 days a week, for one month. Know you are loved and held in prayer.

My heartfelt condolences to the Crook Family! I am heart broken & so sorry to hear of Angela's passing! I worked with her at Sierra Central for years & Joe married my husband (also Joe) & I along with Angela gracing us with her presence & taking pictures of which have been hanging on our walls ever since! She was ALWAYS there to lend an ear, a hand & a heartfelt prayer for anyone in need, myself included! Words can NOT describe just how sad my heart is! She was a friend, a confidante & a wonderful joy in my life! She will ALWAYS be greatly missed! I also just want to share, I was recently experiencing some troubling situations & I opened a cabinet looking for a book, The Women's Devotional Bible 2 slipped out & a card from Angela also fell in which gave me some much needed comfort. She was an AMAZING person, whom still & will forever touch my heart! I AM blessed to have known her!
All My Love,

I am so sorry to hear about Angela passing. She was so lovely and compassionate. Always greeting everyone with a smile. She found out through my husband that I had ovarian cancer, she was right there with a phone number and a free pass to call anytime I had questions. I ran into her at the store she looked so strong and beautiful. We laughed we cried all the while blocking the aisle but she gave me so much during that conversation. I wish we all had more time with her. My heart goes out to her family.
