Obituary of Michael David Johnson

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley CA., for Michael D. Johnson, 55, from Biggs California. He passed away November 17, 2015 at Orchard Hospital in Gridley CA. Michael was born March 19, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona to A. David and Leola Johnson. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed walking with his dogs. He was a loving and caring person and helped his mother around the farm. He served in the United States Marine Corp in 1982 thru 1985 and was stationed state side. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He proceeded in death by his father, A. David Johnson. Michael is survived by his son, Anthony Johnson of The Dalles, OR, his mother Leola Johnson of Biggs, one brother Mark (Jenny) Johnson of Gridley CA, one sister, Valoree Johnson of Athens, GA, Companion Gloria Romo of Yuba City, CA, two grandchildren, four nieces, 1 nephew, numerous aunts uncles and cousins. Father Juan Manuel Ponce will officate the service. Interment will be at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery. The family suggest contributions be made to The Butte SPCA.
