Obituary of Choua Xiong

Choua Xiong, 70, passed away in Oroville California on November 9, 2015. In 1945 Choua was born in Luand Prabang, Laos to Joua Ziong & Yer Thao. She lived there until 1975 when she moved to Thailand Namyao Refugee Camp. In 1979 she came to the US and lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1981 she moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and in 1989 she moved to Oroville, California. Choua was the wife of Yong Sa Vang who preceded her in death. She had 2 brothers & 3 sisters. She is survived by her son Tong Ker Vang and his wife Mee Xiong, and their six children; Jenny Vang, Steve Vang, Kevin Vang, Becky Vang, Andy Vang & Nathan Vang. She is also survived by her son Seng T. Vang and his wife Stacy Thao and their son Kyle Vang and many friends and relatives. Traditional Hmong Funeral Services were held at Oroville Funeral Home and followed by her Burial Service at Cherokee Cemetery in Oroville California on November 16, 2015. Arrangements were entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home.
