Obituary of William Leon Hix

William Leon Hix, Age 63, born October 19,1955 and passed away November 20, 2018 in Oroville, Calif.

William was proceeded in death by his wife Debra Jean, His Parents Roliegh and Dorothy Hix, and brothers Ricky Eugene and Michael George.

He is survived by his sons, William and Lyle Reddick of Oroville, Calif., Grandsons Shon M Bradford and Freddy Dalton. Two sisters, Karen Combs of Oroville, Calif and Sharon Vaniman of Salinas, Calif along with several nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

William moved with his parents to Oroville in 1961 when his father accepted work building the Oroville Dam.  He attended elementary school and is a 1974 graduate of Las Plumas High School.

After high school William joined the Army for a two year term and received an honorable discharge and upon returning home enrolled in Butte College.

William enjoyed building models of ships and making small trinket boxes.  He also liked making little model houses and small towns. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.  William was a kind man who was loved by everyone that knew him.

William will be laid o rest with his parents in a graveside service on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville, California. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
