Raymond and I were married and had a wonderful life together from 1977 to 1982. He loved to take me fishing in the ocean. We would take our welded aluminum boat out of Santa Cruz and hit the ocean and fish all day. He taught me how to garden. We went up to Downieville and looked for gold for 2 summers. He loved to go to Lake Taho and gamble. Or, we would go fishing on the rivers. He was an awesome good man and was generous and loving. He loved our dog Lucky and our Manx cat Bear. He was my first and best husband. We worked side by side building swimming pools all over California. He loved his family and cared deeply for them. I only pray that in his older years that he found happiness as I have tried so hard to do. I found a picture of him back when he was a surfer. He is on the beach with my mom, his aunt Mary.
