Obituary of Goldina Axia Chollet

Her Legacy… Goldina “Dina” Chollet was born on October 22, 1921 in Ecorse, Michigan to Leonard and Edna Lawson. Dina passed away on September 21, 2018 in Oroville, California. She was a precious wife, mother and grandmother. Dina sang in several venues, which included, Big Band, Popular and Christian music. She was very involved with the Community Concert Association, and was a charter member of Foothill Community Church. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Her Family… Dina is survived by her four children, Kathleen (Steve) Halterman of Grass Valley, CA; David Chollet of Oroville, CA; Paul (Rose) Chollet of Auburn, CA; and Michele Chollet of Oroville, CA; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Leonard Chollet, her parents and three siblings, Guy, Ray and Wanda.

Her Farewell Service… Dina’s Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street Oroville, CA with a Graveside Committal Service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd. Oroville, CA.
