Obituary of Valerie Sharpe

Valerie Sharpe, 59, of Biggs passed peacefully in her sleep September 14, 2018. Valerie was born October 24, 1958 in Sacramento.

Valerie began her life defying the odds set against her and left this earth leaving behind an inspirational impact on those whose paths she crossed. Valerie really enjoyed working for The Depot in Oroville and for The Little Red Hen in Chico. She was a member of the Biggs Methodist Church, president of Peaches, a member of People First, Senior Staff Assistant at the Little Red Hen, a member of Do It Leisure attending many functions, and a member of the Biggs Lions Club.

Valerie is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Chappell of Biggs, her father, Edward Cooper of Chico, her sister Clarissa Reeson (Chris), her brother Brian Cooper, three nieces, one nephew, one great niece, and three great nephews. Valerie's willfulness and passion for life will live on through her loved ones.

Services will be held at the Biggs Methodist Church, 441 C St in Biggs at 10am on September 18, 2018. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the wonderful life Valerie lived. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel, 530-846-2138.
