Obituary of Ralph Tyler Thompson

Upon his passing on September 1, 2018, in Oroville, CA, Ralph, 84, was reunited with his loving family; his wife of 62 years Rosemary and his son Jeffery, both of whom preceded him in death. Ralph was born February 20, 1934 in Panguiteh, Utah to Tyler and Juanita Thompson. “R.T.” was a Detective Sargent with Oroville Police Department for many years. After leaving the department he enjoyed years of his favorite activities. Including, his daily workout with  weights, hiking to the “O’, riding his bike to Chico to have lunch with Rose, and his nightly run from their home to the base of the Dam. R.T. excelled at archery competitions and earned numerous trophies and blue ribbons. He was happiest when he was hunting, fishing or canoing.

Looking back over the years it is comforting to know we were always welcome to just stop by anytime at the Thompson’s.
