Willa Ames posted a condolence

Tommy was my little brother and even though we were only three years apart in age, I always felt like the big sister. It was that way with all of my younger brothers, Johnny, Tommy and Ricky Joe. They are all three gone from this world now, and better off, I like to think. It gives me hope to think there is a better place for us all. A place where there is love and peace that never dies, filled with goodness and kindness that so often escapes us in this life. I saw Tommy last in 1981, and that is the way I will always remember him, young and full of life. The passage of time is cruel, and a cheat. Old age breaks every one it touches, and so I choose to believe that once Tommy and my other brothers discarded their physical bodies, they are now free souls in a place we can only imagine. When it is my time to go, I hope to leave this world with love in my heart, free of bitterness and regret, and ready to reconnect with all those loved ones I have lost.
