Obituary of Roy C Andrew
His Legacy… Roy Clayton Andrew was born on July 22, 1933 in Oakwood, Texas to Margaret and Johnnie Andrew. Roy proudly served in the Texas Army National Guard and the Army Reserves for 15 years. He was a mechanic with the Oroville School District for 25 years. He enjoyed traveling to the coast, fishing, hunting, flying model airplanes, oil painting, his computer and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, & great-great grandfather. Roy passed away on July 13, 2018 in Oroville, California.
His Family… Roy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Trudy; his children Mike (Sharon) of Lubbock TX, Terry of Oroville CA, Debbie Zahn (Rick) of Graford, TX and Tami Maxwell (Michael) of Lubbock, TX, 11 grandkids, 26 great grandkids and 4 great-great grandkids, one sister Kay Andrew-Benton of San Antonio, TX and one brother Bobby of Houston, TX. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his son Marty Andrew, a brother Charles and sisters Laverne, Barbara Jo and Claudia Jean.
His Farewell Service…To honor his life his Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Oroville Funeral Home in Oroville California. Services will also take place in Texas where he will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
