Obituary of Kaya Vue

Kaya Vue was born June 5, 1930 in Laos and lived with his family until he immigrated to the United States on April 21, 2004.  Kaya has since resided with his wife, Mai Xiong, in Oroville, California.  He was actively involved in the community and dedicated his life as a shaman.  At the age of 88 years old he peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in his home with his wife by his side.  His pleasantries as a husband, father, and grandfather will be missed and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.  Kaya is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, and his grandchildren.  A Traditional Hmong Funeral Services will be held at Southside Community Center  in Oroville California beginning on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 8:00 am and continueing over night until Monday, July 16, 2018.  Burial Service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery on Lincoln Blvd. in Oroville, California at noon on Monday, July 16, 2018.
