Obituary of Julie Youa Vang

Julie Youa Vang passed away on June 16, 2018 in Sacramento, California. She was born on April 18, 1980 in Spokane, Washington.  She is the fourth of thirteen children of Bee Vang and Sy Thao.  The family settled in Oroville, California in 1986.  Julie found her love Jason Griffis in 2005, their daughter Nola Hli was born in 2009. Julie will be rememberd for her smile, kindness and patience.  She was a loving wife and mother who worked hard to help support her family; and loved to spend time with family and friends.  Julie loved to tell stories to her daughter , and her nieces and nephews, who also loved that she would bring them treats when she visited. Hmong music and movies were favorites of Julie.  So were adventures in Bedrock park, playing rocks, karaoke and being silly.  

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 8:00 AM to Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Southside Community Center 2959 Lower Wyandotte Ave Oroville with Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd Oroville, California.
