Obituary of Edna Imogene Sherron
Her Legacy… Edna Imogene “Jean” Sherron was born on July 8, 1927 to Clarence and Lydia Rankin in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was the 3rd oldest of 12 children; she spent most of her youth on a farm helping to raise crops, animals and siblings. She loved to travel with her sisters, visit her children and grandchildren, crochet and numerous other crafts. She also loved playing BINGO. She will be deeply missed. Jean passed away on October 27, 2015 in Oroville, California.
Her Family… Jean is survived by her daughters Margaret Blankenship, Shirley Sherron, Carolyn (Ken) Matthews, Kathy (Ron) Thorpe, her sons Floyd (Debby) Sherron Jr., Curtis (Sherry) Sherron, Mark (Susan) Reyman, 26 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, one sister, and three brothers. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd and sons Clarence and Donald.
Her Farewell Service… A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson St. Oroville. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Ramsey Funeral Home with Graveside Committal to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
