Obituary of LeeRoy Marshall Smith

LeeRoy Marshall Smith Sr., born in Riverside County on November 26,1934, passed away at home age 83 on May 14, 2018 in Oroville, California. LeeRoy served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959. He worked 23 years for Safeway as a truck driver until his retirement in 1992. He was a volunteer at Hope Center Oroville CA for the past four years. He also volunteered with the Butte Horseman's Assoc. for many years while his daughter and granddaughter competed. All those who knew him knew that he was a man of God who liked to serve. He will be missed dearly by his loved ones. Rest in peace Dad!

LeeRoy is survived by his wife of 45 years Carol Ann Smith. In addition to his wife Carol he is survived by his sons, LeeRoy M Smith Jr. of Maine, Shawn Smith (Carla) of Loxahatchee FL, Kevin Smith (Nichol) of Lincoln CA, Christopher Smith (Alice) of Chico CA, William Smith (Courtney) of Murrieta CA and daughter, Kimberly Sutton (Robert) of Palermo CA. LeeRoy is survived by 14 grandchildren and three additional little ones who call him grandpa.
