Obituary of Robert Wayne Eldridge

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery for Robert (Bob) W. Eldridge, 84 of Gridley. He passed away on Monday April 30, 2018 in Gridley.

He was born on October 15, 1933 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He was a longtime resident of Gridley. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, having received Two Bronze Stars and a third with a Victory Medal. He worked as a pipe fitter and an electrician, during and after his Army career.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jhul Ja Eldridge; one brother, Sam Eldridge; and one sister, Dorothy O’Brien.

He is survived by his daughter, Hyang Ja Kwon and husband Paul Williams of Seattle, Washington; one grandson, Kenneth Kwon; three great-grandchildren, all of Seattle; two sisters: Cora Jane Lewellen of Gridley, Kathy Martin of Sacramento, and numerous nieces and nephews.
