Obituary of Rosalyn M Cockrell
Rosalyn Mae Zimmerman Cockrell was born on May 21, 1919 in Wells Minnesota to Forrest Zimmerman of Indiana and Gladys Williamson Zimmerman of New York. Rosalyn was the wife of Carroll Glenn Cockrell of Colorado and the mother of Glen Darwin MacGregor.
Rosalyn was a registered nurse who served with the National Nurses Ambulance Unit during World War II and was affilliated with the U S Army Corp. During her life she attended Grace Baptist Church in Lakewood, Colorado, Red Rocks Fellowship in Lakewood Colorado and Church In The Wildwood in Forbestown, California. She passed away on April 6, 2018 at the age of 98 in Oroville, California.
Rosalyn is survived by her daughter-in-law Violet M. MacGregor of Forbestown, California. Grandchildren Wendy Lewis and Sean MacGregor along with numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband and her son.
Rosalyn will be placed next to her husband at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado during a private burial without public services at her request.
