Sharon was a life long friend and I will forever be thankful that God put me in her path. Together we were the Children's Church Teachers at First Baptist Church. We also played the piano and organ and may have been the alternative rock of today. :)
Sharon loved the Gaithers and any type of Christian music that had a message of encouragement. She was the consummate partner for Barney always laughing at his jokes and prompting him to tell others of his walk with the Lord. Barney was a baby when he was left by his earthly parents and excelled in life because of his love for Jesus. His heavenly father was the one he would talk about. The two of them walked together through life and raised two wonderful Godly men. I look forward to seeing Sharon, Barney and their grandson Eric in heaven. I know God has a home beyond compare for them there. Sharon you are forever in my memories. You made a difference in so many lives in your quiet way that never pushed over but calmly interjected scripture and common sense. I will always see you as my sister in Christ and miss you until I see you again. Love Vicky
