My sincere condolences on the passing of Jean. I knew her very well in high school and was one of many that loved her. Very very sad to hear that she is no longer with us.

She was kind, and a beautiful sister who was full of energy, and fun and everyone loved her. Her heart was full of love and she shared that with all. She was the sunshine of our lives and I will miss her forever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in God's promise of the resurrection where we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28, 28) May the God of all comfort bring you a measure of peace in this most difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4)

Fred Claira, Gayle, I am so sorry for your loss. I do know this she is running on a beach,......somewhere! Such great memories we had going to Santa Cruz one summer almost every weekend we would head down there sometime meeting up with her mom and picking up shells on the beach at crack of dawn. We also learned how to surf one weekend, not forgetting that we had to flash every truck driver that got near us! We laughed and laughed, slept on the beach without a care in the world, except for getting home on time for work on Monday morning. I will never forget one of many snow skiing trips we made when leaving the Tahoe area, north shore, a storm was coming and we had to get over the pass before they closed it. well we were one of the last cars allowed to keep driving up and over the Donner summit and yes we made it to just about the top snowing so hard we could not see the car in front of us,and she slowed down to much and yes we got stuck. Jeanie was so afraid we would freeze to death like her father said the Donner summit party did! She started crying, I got out of the car and saw the plow coming and he was pushing us over the top instead of putting chains on, so I calmed her down, and when it was our turn the driver of that plow told us he will push us over the other side put it in drive and steer! Mext thing we knew that plow was going 70 miles an hour so were we! Jeanie' s eyes were so big and she was hanging on to that steering wheel for dear life, that plow man said do not break but he did not say he would be pushing us at 70 for over a mile. About the time Jeanie started to scream about that driver trying to kill us he took an off ramp and sent us sailing. She got that little brown car slowed down finally and home within 2 hours, but we never will forget the day we almost froze like the Donner summit party, and that plow man tried to kill us! We laughed and laughed about that day, later! When i got into recovery years later and moved back to California, I ran into her again at women's AA meeting, we hugged and cryed. She said to me I need help and I need a sponsor. It just so happened that my sponsor was there with me and I had the privilege to introduce her to her first sponsor. I will miss her laughter and the love that radiated around her. I know she is on that beach running..........somewhere! I love you forever and never forget the beautiful memories we shared. I am so sorry to hear of Jeanie's passing.. she was a very good friend to many.. I went to school with her in high school and she was the best friend to not only one of my best friends (which is how I got to know her) but also became a best friend to my step-sister who also became a roommate with Jean in their 1st apt.(town-house).
Jean always had a great big smile when you would see her and say hello... And then she'd give a great big hug to you!
She was a awesome beautiful kind hearted lady and loved by many and i know she will be greatly missed!!
