Obituary of John Roland Alexander

John R. Alexander, 83, passed away on October 10, 2015 in Oroville California. John was born in Point, Texas on March 23, 1932. John raised his family in Oroville California. He worked out of Local 185 and remained a union member for over 60 years. He faithfully worked on the Oroville Dam from start to finish. John was preceded in death by his wife Marline whom he was married to for almost 60 years. His oldest son Larry, also preceded him in death nearly three years ago. John is survived by two sons; John G. and his wife Sunny, Danny and his wife Denise, and one daughter-in-law Dorothy Alexander. His family continues to grow with over 25 grand and great grandchildren. John was loved by these and many other family members and friends. Private burial has taken place at Memorial Park Cemetery where he joined his loving wife. Arrangements are entrusted with Oroville Funeral Home (530) 533-0323.
